sanford x deimos

dynamic: where deimos is easygoing or diligent, sanford is vice versa.

they’re the perfect duo; a cautious brawler x impulsive long ranged gunner, a medically inclined soldier/the muscle x agile (physically and mentally) hacker/joker

they can easily pick up the slack to cover one another, hold very high levels of trust between them, and are completely balanced in both teamwork and friendship / love. one loosens the other up, and one checks the other in line need be. at the same time, both are focused enough to stay on track for the mission, and both are lax enough to goof off together or have fun.

this doesn’t mean they don’t clash ofc, w/ sanford taking grief in deimos’ untimely jokes or vice versa with sanford’s more uptight moments. but ngl it’s the kind of conflict that only adds onto their bond more they’re so in love it’s stupid god hE IS The FLAME TO HIS PYROMANIACYYYY AAAAAAA

dynamic: deimos would act as the smoking wrecking ball he is to get through to him. if anybody can bait hank into a mini game or to unwind a tiny bit, it’d be him ngl

hank WILL have a touchstarved -> ridiculously touchy character arc here and no this is not up for debate /lh

i’ve said this before but, their dynamic is honestly kinda similar to sanmos (as it turns out, hank bein the brawns + deimos the long ranged techie works out swell), just a tad more extreme.

dynamic: so w/ deimos x 2bdamned, i figure they’d be just as compatible as sanford x hank. meaning, not at all lol

ok ok fr tho, they’d actually be more compatible than that

both play similar hacker roles + has shared interests, but also got enough contrast in personality. maybe a lil too much (doc’d be overly brash to deimos/deimos’d be overbearing?)

one thing that could be interesting with these two, is that they’re both hinted to have been from the agency (or, i hc it anyway) that’d be a nice shared past to potentially dig thru

consensus: they can have fun together. i see them more as good bud/colleagues than anything else
